Hi I’m Gerry Draeger Draggers International Classic Sale in Seattle Washington We’re here at Gregor’s clubhouse where I want to show you that this beautiful, stunning 1967 Shelby GT500 67 was the last year Shelby was involved. In 1968 Ford did the Shelby’s and this has the inboard lights on, it has a 428 up front with the two four Holley carburetors on it, the engine was pulled out and rebuilt and it’s got about 480 horsepower and I want to tell you this is an ongoing one Machine is. If you want horsepower this is a car to look at and look down the sides.

You can see how straight this car is, how beautiful it is reflections and the paint is just really something different and it runs and drives great. Me, the whole car is just very, very well done. I mean, that’s how you like to find her.

I’m not telling you it’s a show car or anything it’s a really good car and you could probably make it look nicer. The engine bay could maybe be a bit more detailed, but if you want performance then this is it and see that the door closes nicely. I mean, everything is nice about this car again, we are new wheels and we have the original wheels along with the original exhaust system and the original gas tank, but the reflections in the paint are just fantastic and of course the back of this car is just as beautiful like the rest of the car and everything looks fine, everything works fine and again the engine and gearbox and clutch are very, very smooth and again the driver’s side of this car is the same.

1967 Shelby GT 500 Fastback

I tried to buy one last year but was unsuccessful. It wasn’t even anywhere near that car again. You see how nicely the door closes and stuff and there are some flaws in the paint I’m telling you what’s the reason I’m not stopping and pointing it out and scratching out I don’t think there is a scratch on this car and that Errors are so small that I have to look carefully For them in this light and I can see things, there is a small spot.

I can see something in here, but it’s minor. I think I saw something in white up here, but I don’t know you either. ‘I’ll see it, I can’ I barely see it now, opening the hood that you’ve got security cables on and ooh , and right underneath is the hood latch that you lift up, and of course we have this support arm going in here to hold up this I don’t have hood springs on it.

This is a fiberglass hood here and there is the 428 engine. Now here’s a 428 with two fours. The great Cobra air is clear here.

Here they have power brakes. Disc brakes have power steering it’s a 4 speed 2 so just in case you want to know if it’s air filters. It’s got two fours, Holly’s there, and everything looks fine, boy.

I have to be close. I know you don’t want to sit here and read me, do this, but somebody has to do it anyway, this is your Shelby Bin day here and like I said, I’m going here on tank so it’s nice and clean under the underside of that hood. You get Andrew back and check this out.

The underside of the hood is gorgeous. I mean, this car is super nice. I could say the detail in the engine bay is a bit better, but if you don’t want to show the car and drive it then it’s fine and close this back up just to reverse the order you put these back in so you can use it I mean, the whole thing is just beautiful.

I thought I saw a stain here, but it’s a stain. I mean, I think you will be really happy with this stunning car. Let’s look in the trunk here and so you can see what this all looks like, and of course this top lid is made of fiberglass just so you know and it looks like it.

It’s all nicely painted and everything hey have you been driving a Shelby gt500 lately no I haven’t but I bet just like you would make tool tools fun I have the jack in there and all I can feel and I want to Look over here on this page so you can see that we have a gas tank in that area. Everything looks really good here and everything so that everything looks good and solid and beautiful, the way you want it and look. When the car drives back here, it is upholstered and the carpets all look like new. Everything looks really good.

The other end of things is the passage here. Just lift it up and there is a lever pushing it down on and then you can get your passport through, now it has a spare tire here, yeah you can see it. There’s a Shelby wheel there, so there’s a set of five wheels that I didn’t get that close.

Everything else looks really good here. Then you can see that we have a roll bar here that goes all the way over the shoulder straps, right where those vents are, the side here works on both sides. Ventilation slots and of course I always like them when I lie down so that it just looks better to me.

The fastback rear seats are not very large. Just let yourself be lifted up. Pick it up again and it’s locked and see the rest of the seat belts here.

These have card backs on the back of the seats, that’s a Shelby thing and you can see the headliner looks really nice in this car too. I mean, everything looks fine there. You can see we have the Shelby wooden steering wheel here.

The speedometer reads sixty-four thousand four hundred seventy-three miles which I really don’t wear I don’t know what that means so it could be actual miles, it could be 163, but this thing is damn beautiful and if this is the salt flats when it was the 2007 Cobra Shelby meeting went and if you notice the photos one of the photos shows it On the Salt Flats that Carroll Shelby assigned to that glove box door, he actually didn’t sign that he sang this piece of boat here. Glow blocks. It just flies, of course.

You can get your oil pressure gauge and your ampere gauge down here. The seats here are all really nice that you know they’re not brand new or anything like that. They could very well be original on this car.

The carpets look really nice. I am sure they have been replaced. You’ve known for a long time that kick tails have been looking good since the ’70s. That good pad looks really good over here.

I mean, this is a very, very nice car. The headliner here is all right and all that is a nice car. You can see the fuel gauge is working right here.

The tomato knife reads fifty-four thousand four hundred seventy-three miles on it I hope you can hear me clap, not dealer who works CaPSURE games sergeant, Joyce said, If I turn the light on slightly to oil pressure, I’ll have to tell you I’ll run this for 28 runs can hear and just feel that you just feel like you’re in a racing car, but you’re starting it now to hear it work what you can. ‘I don’t hear it, but it works there now. You can hear the heater fan working so I won’t start it because you might not hear it anyway.

The radio is just the standard track if it hits the am / fm founder’s station anyway you can see it’s making noise, now we’re going to check the headlight here and the turn signals there is hard light there is a headlight there is high beam and you can see they import lights are on high beam we have the left turn signal we have the right turn signal, the horn which is much of a horn, and the wipers they are a two speed wiper but even if you get stuck and need to clean the wipers i hope you never ride this in the rain you can step on the pedal and it hurts the wiper goes. I think that ‘ s pretty straight hair light running lights turn left turn right brake lights and then we have the back like you the other side of the shelby here has been painted all black underneath here it’s clean i mean it we didn’t do anything with it we didn’t clean it . We have cobwebs and things in here that might go away.

The petrol tank looks good. The rear end looks really nice and everything else you can see under that massive rear end, and of course we have the swing bar here we have traction bars so this thing is set up to handle the performance of the floor pans. The floor pans all look really good here.

I mean, the vents were all in there like they were meant to be the whole thing. Looks Really Nice Check out this massive exhaust system down here. ‘There’s not a lot of mufflers here and stuff, it’s probably a bit confusing, that’s why it sounds so neat, great sounding car, and again the floor pans all look good except we have a spot here that has a stain here I shouldn’t say a patch is a sweat mark.

I would assume that maybe it was a bad place here. They filled it out and fixed it. I don’t know because it’s not like we took a piece out because you had one The whole piece over there is just a single line that goes right there so I can’t tell you it’s something bad again.

Those outer pieces, the numbers here are exactly as they are, it’s supposed to be that all of the drain holes are good and everything and the rest of the floor pans are all great frame boxes that look great on both sides. This is a bad place here.

I wanted to point out to you, right here is a hole that could have been fixed a lot better, it’s just something they didn’t do well when they put it back together. It’s nothing special anyway. This is a 4 speed gearbox with matching numbers that you can tell by the number right there.All you want may be hard to see there, but it’s on the right side right up there, it’s on the frame and touch right here on this motor mount right there so it’s tight in there this is the power steering for the bottom of the car and you can see here that everything looks good and everything that the eight frames and everything looked good.

This is the bottom of the 428 engine. This is the original block on this car, these are the matching numbers that they don’t have numbers on, but this is the original block that now has stainless steel valves in it but everything looks fine here. There is a high-performance pendulum rod here.

There are none here. I can tell you a lot more up here, but everything looks fine. I don’t look like this thing has been destroyed where this is. I’m all bent or something like that.

That’s all that looks good and solid I’m impressed with the way I’m going to condition this Shelby. ‘s in ha what a lovely day to take a Shelby gt500 for a little drive down the freeway. We’re driving north on the freeway and I’m not going to go to jail and show you how fast this thing goes, it’s scary fast I pay which is bad enough for me.

Now you can see that on the other side of this car. I mean, I’m not even persistent. I have to tell you a couple of things, this is actually the first time I’ve driven this part.

I noticed that I love. The gear clutch works very smoothly and simply, but I’ll tell you if you want horsepower this isn’t for anyone you better be ready to hold on to. It has an orange bar that is hard to tell and the short highway trip you know.

It’s going to be a lot of traffic I’m sure I’ll get a ticket to go to jail and step on this thing man it would be a lot of fun to drive around, so your horse, that’s kind of horsepower , and I mean it has a real horse. There is one other thing about this bird scroll. The construction here used to be very tight.

I like that and you have a chance when you drive down a freeway. The best in one article to show you how well this thing is going and why we’re excited to show you this beautiful car. I want to tell you it’s coming to Draggers Clubhouse.
