New Global Mustang GT4 racing car

The newly built Mustang GT4 turnkey racing car is within the global reach of the legendary signage. Mustang is one of the most prominent cars in the history of North American motorsport, including the SCCA Shelby GT350R 1960r, 1970’s Trans-Am 302 Boss, new FR500, 302R Boss, and winner of the Shelby GT350R-C 2016 tournament. The new Mustang GT4 expands the horse stables to a global audience.

The car is based on the Shelby GT350R-C, which won its classes in the IMSA Continental Tire Sports Tire Challenge this year – the first full season of the competition. With a 5.2-liter V8 gearbox and a six-speed Holinger paddle-shift shift, Mustang GT4 is ready to enter any GT4 series in the world. The car can be used in the Grand Sport IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge, Pirelli World Challenge GTS, and European GT4 classes, to name a few.

The new Mustang GT4 features a Multimatic Motorsports Passive mode, including damp, lower back arms and stabilizer rods. An 18 by 11-inch forging wheel with racing wedges brought the power to the sidewalk. Aerodynamic help is used to improve downforce, including back wings, aggressive shards, additional hood ventilation, and new back dispersions.

The interior has a complete FIA-compliant roller cage and has control over motorsport engines and brake antique controllers, along with Motec’s dashboard loggers.

“The new Mustang is a global vehicle,” said Mark Rushbrook, Ford Performance’s motorsport engineering manager. “Now his growing fan base has a GT4 competition model to race and support races around the world.”
