Ford Bronco 2021 Tour
Ford Bronco 2021 Tour
Ford bronco 2021, This is the new Ford Bronco Ford that revealed this about three months ago as the main competitor to the incredibly popular Jeep Wrangler. Since then, I’ve received a really unreal number of requests to review it. I can’t remember a hotter car awaiting in the entire history of my website link, except maybe the C8 Corvette, today I’ll be checking out the new Bronco as often as possible before I start.
Be sure to check out the Cars and Bids my new online enthusiast car auction website has Cool Modern Cars website if you want to buy something cool from the 1980s and up we have an amazing variety with daily auctions going all the time run, and if you’re looking to sell a cool car from that era, Cars and Bids is where you can get the most interest and money for your cool car. Check out cars and bids at carsandbids There is a certain shortage of drivable Broncos right now. This vehicle is still in the prototype phase and will not go on sale for another six months.
Ford said it was ok to come and check it out to check it out.As long as I was okay with the fact that this one doesn’t have an engine, today I’m just going to do what I got on a thorough tour of the new Bronco or at least as thoroughly as I possibly can, before I have access to a production-ready Bronco, probably early next year, but first, the Bronco’s basics come in two versions. Whether it’s the Broncos Sport, which is smaller, or the full-size Bronco, which will be available in two-door or four-door configurations, the Bronco Sport intends to add a little off-road excitement to the compact SUV world like the Jeep Renegade, however the full-size bronco is the one everyone is talking about.
There’s a turbo four-cylinder with 270 hp or a twin-turbo v6 with 310 hp and you can get a 7-speed manual transmission, although it’s only available on the 4-cylinder the smaller engine and of course there’s more than that that, so today I’m going to take you on a thorough tour of the new Bronco and show you all of the quirks and features of the first true Jeep Wrangler competitor in years, or at least I’ll show you as many quirks and features as I possibly can for a vehicle that doesn’t have an engine. I’m going to start the quirks and features of this very prototypical Bronco by running the trim levels first to create a kind of baseline.

This is technically a seven-speed manual, but first gear is just a track type like a low-range gearbox for off-roading situations where you would work like a six-speed manual most of the time when driving on the road, but seventh gear is there if you are need it now for the basic bronco model. There aren’t a lot of options, but two notable ones throughout the Bronco range include one of the V6s, even if you get the most basic bass modly bass Bronco that you can upgrade to the 2.7 liter twin turbo V6 for More Power The other notable option on all Bronco models is the Sasquatch package.
Now it’s an off-road package that has 35 “tires with front and rear limited slip differentials, plus bigger flared fenders, all of that stuff this thing has the Sasquatch package even though they’re actually 37” tires that are massive but you can see how it looks off road and done and the cool thing here like i said is how you can get on the base model in theory you could get the cheapest bronco just by adding the sasquatch package and being ready, going off-road, but based on the base model, the Bronco trim levels are divided into two categories: Off-Road Oriented Fairings The next is the big curve, which is something like your first comfort fairing. It starts at 34.
$ 000 and has a few perks like a leather steering wheel with remote starter and a couple of luxuries offers a few more options available that weren’t offered on the base model. This is the Black Diamond version. This is the next off-roader model with a size of around 37,000
. There is also a sturdy underrun protection plate attached to the front, which you can see here. It has a modular bumper that lets you attach a winch and light up anything you want to put there, and a rubberized floor with drain plug that lets you hose down the interior, which is the black diamond.
The next is the outer bank model. Again, this is a bit more comfort-oriented. That’s about 40.
000 and this is where it starts to get luxurious. I suspect this will be a volume trim level with a lot of sailing it has leather upholstery it has the 12 inch center screen with all the infotainment extras it has alloy wheels LED lighting this is the one I suspect most of Bronco owners want them for normal driving on the road, then the next one is called Wasteland that’s $ 43,000 starting price and again it’s another off-roader fairing that combines luxury and off-road which it doesn’t. It doesn’t feature over all functions of the outdoor benches, but many are offered.
It also adds front separating stabilizer bars, which are great for electronically locking the front and rear differentials off-road, as well as a more advanced four-wheel drive system for better off-road skill at the top of the Bronco range is the wild track that does pretty much everything combined. This is like the Raptor version without actually being a Raptor. It comes standard with version 6 and comes standard with the Sasquatch package, so the big one tires the Bilstein shock absorbers, something like that is basically the ultimate new Bronco.
You get the big engine, the sasquatch, and all the luxuries. Lane Keeping Assist Lane Departure Warning Blind Spot Monitoring blah blah blah This is basically the pinnacle of the Bronco lineup, if you want it all, but that’s a pretty general rundown of Bronco’s trim levels. Now let’s get to the quirks and features.
I’ll start the quirks and functions of the new Brago, or at least this prototype version, with the doors there. There’s a lot to say about the doors, including the fact that they are removable in all Bronco trim levels. You can remove the doors, but there’s more to it than that, for one thing, they’re frameless. You see, when I open the door, there is no frame going around. It’s like pretty much any other vehicle and the reason for this, as I mentioned earlier, is that the doors are removable and there is no frame going over the doors.
‘It’s a lot easier to remove. Pick them up. Carry them anywhere.
It would be more unwieldy if they had a frame. When you talk about carrying the doors, look inside the door on the door panel and you can see a marked area that lifts this up, where Ford is asking you to lift the door. I think in order to make it as easy to carry as possible you don’t often see a hand hold area for elevators on most car doors, but when it comes to transporting the doors, this is a very cool thing about the new Bronco is that the doors are in the Bronco fit.
This is a huge advantage over the Jeep Wrangler, which has door frames. As a result, the doors are too big to actually get stuck in the car, and when you’re driving off-road, you need to figure out where to leave your doors.
Not only does the Bronco let you remove them and put them in the cargo bay, but they also come with a protective cover even when you are out on the road with your doors in your cargo bay, they won’t bump around and scratch your paintwork as they’re now in their coverage are. That’s a really cool feature, but I have to say I’m a bit worried about frameless doors in a vehicle like this I say because the window with no frame around the door only hits the roof but the roof is removable and the door is removable. So I have some concerns that if you don’t screw it all the way, wind noise could become a problem it will go back down right after 50 60 100 000 miles, it will be a really perfect fit, I think, we need to see
If you remove the door for off-road driving the mirror will stay in place and you can still see behind you that some Jeep folks have pros and cons tell you they really like turning the mirrors off, though the doors come loose because when you’re off-road you don’t pull it doesn’t really matter to check your blind spots and it makes the vehicle narrower which helps, but the advantage here is also obvious that you can keep the doors out and about who can have the mirrors on. So if you want to drive around without a door you can do it more safely than in the Wrangler, but anyway, the next time you climb into the prototype Bronco and when you open the door you can see the door open quite a bit and they stops just before hitting the mirror.
It’s another cool thing if you can get into the grab bar on the side of the dash for help getting in, says Bronco and it just looks cool and it’s handy too, of course, as you can use it to go inside next to climb. I have to move into the new Bronco to uncover the quirks and features here. But this is also a prototype model, as prototypical as the prototype does not work.
Nothing works here Check out these climate controls, they’re all just fake, it’s a single panel and that goes for anything the pedals don’t work. Nothing. This isn’t a real vehicle, but it’s a great model of what the Bronco will look like and what’s out there. We have some insight into the quirks and features and I want to start on the ground.
You don’t see any doormats here. Instead, you have a small hole that is a drain plug. Several trim levels of the new Bronco offer drain plugs in the interior, it gets really dirty here when you’re off-road, just hose it off and remove the drain plug, and your water will be washed away.
When driving off-road through mud or a swamp, whatever you can, just drag the drain plug in the trash you get here, let the drain plug get you out of the car and then drive further up the dash, to see another off-road quirk. You can see this part with holes all over the dash and only used off-road. What exactly is it? It’s a Gopro mount. There are brackets you can buy to attach a gopro to and then slide over to position the gopro wherever you want.
The reason for this, of course, is that you’re only going off-road so I really shouldn’t have a gopro right in your line of sight if you’re driving down a normal road to further mount your gopro, check this out. There is also a USB port up here that you can use to connect your Gopro while you are out in the field. Gopro mount, which is only used in the field, there are a few screws that plug it into the dashboard, and if you look carefully these screws say Ford Bronco on them which is just a really cool look and affects all exposed screws and bolts in this interior all say Ford Bronco or just Bronco, it’s a very nice touch and me hope small details get the production going. ‘
We move into the center console and you can see that this one has a manual gearbox, which is interesting as it is a Sasquatch bundled vehicle that is not available with the manual, but some sort of grab bag is mix and match of different Bronco features, mostly for prototyping and photography, but let’s take a closer look at this gear step. You can see that the crawler gear is mounted on the bottom and again on the left this is technically not the first time but more of an off-road model gear for short range situations when you get stuck you want to go very slowly to get out of something. Press it down and left for c.
First it is in the normal place up and to the left of the reverse gear so that it goes backwards. It’s technically a seven-forward manual transmission, although when driving on the road you don’t use the crawler transmission at all and there is a small badge that says “Designed and Engineered Ford” in Dearborn Michigan next to the gear stick in the center console cool little touch and again you can see the screws here, say Bronco which only adds to the allure that I like that little plaque there next to that plaque. You can see there is a small compartment that you can wirelessly charge your phone in and it will charge as you drive around.
I’m assuming there is something holding the phone in place since it is an off-road vehicle. Hopping around the terrain will make the phone shoot out of that little area, so I guess I’ll have something in there to make sure it stays tight next, even in these surroundings. I want to talk about all of the color schemes in this interior.
It’s pretty obvious that you saw the exterior was cyber orange and that is passed down to many small spots in the interior where you’ll notice it, such as the passenger-side grab handles that are framed in cyber orange in the center console , and the same goes for the one on the side of the dash, which you can also see The color is on the off-road mode dial in the center that you turn to switch back to different modes.
The cyber orange is even on the little air conditioning slider that the orange color only has a few tiny orange pops of color in this interior in case you’ve forgotten the orange bronco you’ve got ‘when you drive the coolest place the Exterior color is bound, this is definitely on the passenger side of the dashboard. It says there that Bronco is not only printed there, but also printed in orange to tie the exterior color back into the interior, and next another item on the center console is worth mentioning even though it’s fake and won’t open or anything does what you can see when you look at it from the front.
It has a keyhole so it locked. This is a huge perk for people who like it – if you have all the doors and windows turned off, you really don’t have a lot of lockable spaces in this vehicle. There’s the glove box, of course, but off-roaders are always looking for more lockable space in case they want to camp or get away from their vehicle when it’s open so it’s nice that the center console in the new Bronco is now actually blocking.
I want to talk about the materials here even though this is basically just a prototype model. You can get a feel for what they are using and what you have on a lot of rubberized things you can see the climate control, while fakes are clearly rubberized like you’d expect from an off roader with things getting wet or raining or mud on it, so you don’t want it to be too beautiful or fussy or high quality right with the controls on the steering wheel, you can see these look kind of rubberized and also not exactly sure what they’ll be like on the production model, but when it does there is any reference in this same type of business, they are ‘We made it for durability rather than quality and the intent is that you drive it off-road and get this stuff dirty when you have to and when you talk about controls on this car.
One interesting point to keep in mind is the controls in the center console have your electric window switches here and you also have your electric mirror switch here and the reason for that is, of course, that the doors are removable, although the mirrors aren’t if that You have your electric mirror controls on the door you are going to take off the doors you won ‘You can no longer control your mirrors so they had to be placed in the center so you can use this feature even when the doors are now off.
Interestingly, the lock and unlock button is still on the doors, that is, if you want to take off the doors where you need to unhook the electrical connector to unlock the lock and the power windows, but that’s no big deal. Ford tells me that you can do this very easily by peeling it off as part of the door removal process in just a few seconds and next, more controls worth seeing above the center of the screen, in a second you have a series of rubberized buttons, all of which have different functions.
The left is your front differential lock. The one next to it is your rear differential lock, which is a great feature, not too many off-road vehicles then have another off-road button next to it with an arrow that activates a feature called Trail Turn Assist. This one is incredibly cool when you are on a trail and need to make a tight turn turning the steering wheel, but you can also turn this feature on.
It stops the inside wheels on your train and then drives the outside wheels around the steering wheel. This helps you spin in an incredibly small space that you often come across when you’re on the trail now, the other controls up here aren’t really noteworthy. You turned off your traction control and your hazard lights pretty normal, but next I want to talk about that middle screen in this vehicle.
It is not working. No surprise, basically nothing more than Here has some very cool features. For one, it’s the latest 12-inch screen synchronization system from Ford which is excellent and I bet it will be very responsive and very easy to use like other Ford models.
The cool perk here is that there are lanes mapped on this screen, there are over a thousand off-road trails mapped into the Ford Bronco infotainment system, so you can take advantage of that off-road screen and know where you are going with your infotainment navigation screen. That’s a great idea and here. Another cool feature, although I told you there is a Gopro mount that you can use to film your adventures.
The screen can also film your off-road fun with the car’s parking cameras. You can film your off-roading with the infotainment system and it will even overlay your footage with various off-road vehicle graphics so you can see your steering angle or the lean angle of your car at that particular moment. Also, all of your footage will be shown, and of course your Gopro cannot.
That’s really cool feature in the new Bronco and next talk about screens you have another screen pretty big in gauge that I imagine will give you a lot of useful information again as well, it works in this vehicle not really at all, but you get the idea and I’m looking forward to trying it out in real time and see if it gives you off-road information that I suspect is now displayed next to the instrument cluster screen. You can see the actual speedometer reading on that old-fashioned looking display which is just pretty cool up to 120 mph, there isn’t much optimism about the new Bronco’s top speed.
‘It gets a little tricky for adults, and it’s especially difficult on vehicles with massive tires like this one, as there’s a long step to the new Bronco, but once you’ve got your foot up here you can sort of push yourself, I guess that this vehicle has power running boards. It might be nice if it did, and if not, your passengers would want running boards when they got the 37-inch tires. Roads like this are definitely the way to go, but now I’m in the back seat here.
A couple of interesting things worth mentioning. For one, the headroom in the back seat is excellent. I am six foot four.
I have no problem at all with the roof sitting here with my head not touching the ceiling. It’s shy about an inch or two, but adults can definitely get into the back of the new two-door Bronco right now. As for legroom, let’s give it a try.
I moved the backrest and brought the seat back into position. Well, it’s pretty tight, but the front seat looks like it’s pretty far back. I can sit relatively far back here with the front seat and put my knees right against the back of the front seat so there is room, it’s just not particularly comfortable or a lot of room, but still adults I can get into the back of the new two-door Bronco and sit here relatively comfortably.
That’s impressive and nice to know. Next up, there are a couple of other notable quirks here, for one, there are only two rear seats, the two-door version of I think this vehicle is a four-seater with two seats in the front and obviously two seats in the back, don’t buy this while expecting one Having five-seater because it’s not a cool thing back here.
There is no center bar above the interior between the front and rear seats. The Jeep Wrangler has a center bar here so you never get that crowded open air feeling, but the Bronco doesn’t have the center bar behind the back seat so it’s kind of out of sight, but it still provides a roll bar safety purpose, so it’s still there and you can see they have the stern mounted dome lights on the rear center pole, but again nothing in the center. Another cool thing back here.
Backseat drain plugs in the floor too.S Not only in the front seat footshells that you want to cum in this interior space, you can do this in the front and back to make cleaning a little easier after a day off-road and a few others next To make interesting items back here, you have cup holders in the back on each side so your rear passengers have a place to stow their drinks. Another cool item is the back of the front seats, which has this similar checkerboard pattern built into it, I think the theory is where you can hang things on it if you want to make it a bit more useful than a regular front seat back and another noteworthy item on top the back seat.
The windows are removable so you don’t do it; not only do you remove the doors from the roof, but also pull off the rear windows for the open air experience. Next we go to the back of the new Bronco.
There you will see the massive spare wheel mounted here and the third brake light shining above the spare wheel when the brakes are on. A couple of interesting items on the back of the Bronco, of course. On the left side is the latch for opening the rear tailgate.
You pull on it. Then the tailgate opens and swings out. Right on the other side of the spare wheel you have a Bronco logo on the back. In a minute there will be some Bronco logos in the rear of this vehicle.
S open the tailgate and talk about the cargo space in the new Bronco like I said before, you open it and it swings impressively wide to open it fully, and then you open the rear window, the back doesn’t work, that’s not a big one Thing but when you’re in here you can see some interesting quirks, one of the bronco logos back on the floor like i said there are some bronco logos, there is another lighting between the cargo hold you have light bronco Different light logo It’s an interesting place to put one in, but that’s what they’re doing, and next there are a couple of other interesting items imprinted here on the inside of the tailgate. You can see that the words “accessories” are ready. I think,
It is already ready to receive such items. They also have these cool lasso graphics printed next to the lashing straps. Not entirely sure why they were paired with lassos.
I think to emphasize that you can tie things that, but they are there and emphasize that you can now associate two of the coolest items in the hold of the new Bronco with me. This one doesn’t have one, is the pull-out tailgate shelf that you can see here now if you’re tailgate driving in a pickup truck, put the bed down and can sit on the bed and tailgate during a sporting event or whatever You can’t do here because the tailgate swings open so Ford came up with this pull-out tray that you can get and then you can sit on it and the tailgate like in a pickup truck which is a pretty cool idea. The other nice idea back here is the bottle opener,
Just go to your car. Sorry to open it again, I don’t have that feature, but a lot of the new Broncos will, and so will the Bronco sports.
Next, I’d like to go over some interesting quirks and features out here, starting with some off-road stuff I’ve already covered my new favorite off-road feature. Another cool perk the new Bronco has is the ability to automatically disconnect the stabilizer from the car. Now the Wrangler offers this in a few trim levels too, but the cool thing here is you can do this under load.
So if you’re off-road and find that the stabilizer bar is going in the direction you really need to separate it in a Wrangler that you need, when you need to find a flat surface in the Bronco, it’s easy to do . The connection is terminated.
Then you can continue driving your front wheels. This is an incredibly cool feature, and it’s great that they incorporated this and the next. Since I’m out there, let’s talk about styling. There’s a lot to talk about here, but honestly, I just love it.
I love the look of the new Bronco. I love how it looks like a modern take on the original. You have the lines of the original here, but this retro design trend has been modernized in a great way, much better than any other retro vehicle.
It was created about 20 years ago and is the best so far. ‘It took so long to be really perfect. It’s a great looking, very cool truck from the outside.
Speaking of styling. There’s a lot to love up here. I want to start with the grill, which I think is awesome.
This bronco grill looks like old school with the round headlights and body color under the grill, it looks like the grill is floating in place. It’s a really cool design. Now there are different grille options in the new Bronco, and you can see me go through the different trim levels on the Ford website, you can see all the different grills, so you can use the grille to tell which Bronco is which.
Some of them have run lights like this one that I’ll get when I get a production car, can show you how cool it looks, but I’m excited about the front end of this vehicle, now this particular Bronco has some cool ones too Quirks in the front. One is the body-colored bronco in the grill. No ford up here.
He just says Bronco, that’s all he has to say, and it’s colored to match the car that you also have color-coordinated recovery hooks down here on the front bumper for. Another nice little touch. When you talk about hooks up front, you might be wondering about these things in the front fender just above the headlight. While this was for limb risers, sometimes in off-roaders you can see those high voltage wires running from the top of the A-pillar around the headlight .
The theory is that cables push limbs away when you are off-road so they don’t get attracted – if you don’t break the car, the windshield becomes uncomfortable for passengers. Whatever you can attach to these little attachment points, that’s what they are for. This is a pretty cool functional piece, and each of those limbs can hold up to 150 pounds, so you can endure a lot of abuse before problems arise.
‘I’m very helpful when you want to get this thing really far off-road, and finally two other things I want to cover outside from that angle. One is those flared fenders that look just ridiculous. Those giant torches make this thing look like a Tonka truck, like a toy, but it’s just so cool that you rarely find a production car with fenders on display like this other item that’s worth it on many of the first Press photos to be discussed.
You saw a bronco with holes in the door that was actually that bronco I’m standing next to, but you can see all of the doors have been removed. This was a prototype that could turn into an accessory for the aftermarket but is not currently available. You can see it’s not installed in that vehicle anymore, but it’s very cool and I hope it makes the production of course and it’s those door holes that demonstrate one of my favorite things regarding the whole Bronco situation, namely, that Ford was clearly just having fun with it, so many automakers are so busy making sure everything is perfect and professional and how it should be A big company that Ford revealed was like a screw
Another good example is the colors for this vehicle which have all sorts of cool names for it Colors this one is pretty boring, just cyber orange, but you also have anti-matter blue, you have fighter jet gray and then there is mine personal favorite area 51 which is the name of a color that is some kind of interesting bluish gray, not sure how it really relates to area 51 but I love the fact that there are weird color names along with some other weird things like a Sasquatch package, and if not, that Ford had fun with this vehicle how about the fact that the off-road modes are called Goat Modes Goat. It’s an acronym.
Now we all know Goat is an acronym for Greatest Ever Separate Goat Modes You have normal eco sport modes like your on road modes then there is slippery sand mud rock crawling and Baja. Now Baja is fantastic. It’s designed for fast desert running, to improve your acceleration and tighten your shifts, puts you in that off-road, all-wheel drive mode and that’s just a cool feature if you ever drive through the sand Baja style.
Interestingly, not all Bronco models offer all goat modes, for example the base model only offers five goat modes, the Big Bend version only offers six types depending on which one you get with the Wild Track model. The top of the line is the only version that offers all eight goat modes, now the craziest top line goat mode there is. The fewest number of Broncos around is the rock crawl mode which is really an impressive feature.
He uses computers to analyze when to lock the differential or turn off traction control, whether to use the steering assistance function, or all sorts of other functions. If you ride items on the road that you would normally make yourself, you have them in rock crawl mode. The car automatically makes all these things very curious to see how it actually works in practice and whether it’s as good as an experienced off-roader, even if it isn’t.
how this new bronco has not developed yet or at least that’s my guess and these are the quirks and features of the new Ford Bronco. I know you are disappointed that I couldn’t, I’m not showing you any more and I’m certainly disappointed that I couldn’t get behind the wheel and drive this craziness, but that will come soon.
I’m thrilled to offer you the first in-depth tour of the quirks and features of the new Ford Bronco, this is the new Ford Bronco. We have already got off to a great start. With no frame going around the top they get a lot easier, a lot simpler and next we’re done with the front seating area in the new Bronco time to climb back into the back I stress this is a pre-production car that isn’t quite like that works well as it should there should be a latch on the side of the front seat that you can use pull the front seat forward then move it up.
